Private development in Zambia

We have been commissioned to develop proposals for a large private residence within a new development in Lusaka.
William Anderson visited the site in May this year and is currently working with the client preparing the design proposals.  Early models can be seen in the adjacent images.
Features include large open plan living areas and bedroom accommodation clustered around a private courtyard.  A natural ventilation strategy is being developed from the outset. Combined with shading devices and using the building fabric to absorb excess heat, the building will not require air conditioning.
