'Dentology' Dental Surgery, 13 Bridge Street, Penicuik

Jefcoate Anderson Architects Ltd were appointed as architects for a new dental surgery in Penicuik, by our client, Dentology, an NHS dental practice.

The brief was for the conversion of a traditional two storey terraced house to create a new dental surgery comprising;

4 no. treatment rooms
X Ray Room
Sterilisation Room
Reception
Waiting Room
Staff Room and kitchen facilities
Sanitary Facilities

As architects we were appointed to design and obtain statutory consents and coordinate and integrate the detailed information for the highly specialised fit out as provided by specialist contractors including;

Dental chair supplier and installer
Suction and compressed air equipment supplier installer
Dental cabinetry supplier and installer
X Ray equipment supplier and installer
Sterilisation equipment supplier and installer

The detailed design was carried out in consultation with NHS Lothian and in accordance with NHS guidance and DDA Regulations.

Our client was absolutely delighted with the finished surgery.
